The situation

Rohit had been trying to remortgage his property for over a year.

He’d had a bad experience with a previous mortgage broker who simply couldn’t overcome any hurdles and provide the client with their needs.

He knew Nathan because he is an IT consultant and Nathan was a client of his, so he decided to move from the brokers he was using to Dwello and see if they could help instead.

Rohit was facing a challenge because when his mortgage was due for renewal and his previous broker wasn’t helping him, the rate went up from 2% to 9.2% for a year.

He had been banging on the door of his old provider but they just didn’t act and he was looking to get the rate back down.

“Now I won’t go anywhere else as Nathan helped me so much and it’s just been such a different experience to those I’ve had before.”

The experience 

“Nathan’s communication skills are simply epic – he is a really nice and kind person to work with,” Rohit said.

“He picked up calls, replied to emails and found the time to keep in touch – told me every stage of the process. He is a very relational person and down to earth.

“Other brokers constantly called me with sales talk, whereas with Dwello I was given the quotes, asked to have a look and come back to them when I could. No pressure.”

And Rohit said he wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dwello as a mortgage broker to other people in need of one.

“It was just so easy – I have been telling everybody about him, my neighbours, friends…anyone who will listen,” he said.

“If people don’t know about brokers they may feel safer going directly through the bank because they have always been through the bank.

“They may think they will get sharked by a broker, but not Nathan.

“His documents were easy to understand, he sent them all to me, they were easy to read and Dwello was just very very helpful for me.”
